Terms of Service

By placing an order, submitting a deposit, or using the services of Fraser Valley Computers ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any transaction.

These terms apply to all custom builds, pre-built systems, upgrades, repairs, and For Sale listings sold through Fraser Valley Computers.

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). We accept Interac e-Transfer as our primary payment method. Additional payment options (Pay at Pickup, Pay at Door for local deliveries) may be available at our discretion and will be confirmed at the time of order.

Full payment must be received and confirmed before any order is shipped or released for pickup, regardless of payment method.

Deposits are required to begin the build process on all custom PC orders. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of quote.

• Deposits confirm your intent to purchase and authorize part procurement.
• Deposits are applied toward the total order price.
• If you cancel an order before parts have been ordered, we will review refund eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
• Once parts have been ordered or work has begun, deposits are non-refundable.
• If the remaining balance is not paid within 30 days of the deposit date, the deposit is forfeited and the order is cancelled.

Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to fraservalleycomputers@gmail.com.

• Orders cancelled before parts are ordered: deposit refund reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• Orders cancelled after parts are ordered: deposit is non-refundable; any additional parts costs may be the customer's responsibility.
• Pre-built / For Sale items: all sales are final once the item has been shipped or picked up.
• Defective or damaged on arrival: contact us within 3 business days of receipt for resolution.

We do not accept returns on custom-built systems for preference or compatibility changes after delivery, unless the system was built contrary to agreed specifications.

We ship across Canada. Shipping costs and estimated timelines will be provided at checkout or during the quote process. Fraser Valley Computers is not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs.

All systems are packaged with care. In the event of shipping damage, you must:

• Document the damage with photos immediately upon receipt.
• Contact us within 3 business days.
• Retain all original packaging for any potential carrier claims.

Local pickup is available in the Fraser Valley, BC area. Pickup arrangements will be confirmed after full payment is received.

Fraser Valley Computers warrants that all custom builds are assembled using functional components and tested for stability prior to delivery. Component manufacturer warranties remain in effect and are the customer's resource for hardware defects.

We are not liable for:

• Data loss resulting from hardware failure or customer misuse.
• Damage caused by improper handling, modification, or overclocking after delivery.
• Software issues arising from operating system re-installation or user configuration.
• Third-party component failures covered by manufacturer warranties.

Our total liability under any circumstance shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.

All prices are subject to change based on component market pricing. Quoted prices are valid for 7 days from the date of quote. Fraser Valley Computers reserves the right to revise a quote if significant part price changes occur before deposit is received.

Component availability may affect build timelines. We will communicate any delays promptly and work with you to find suitable alternatives where possible.

By placing an order or using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are at least 13 years of age and have obtained verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly provide services to or collect information from children under the age of 13.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The revised terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
